The SCMAP Supply Chain Conference, the most prestigious event in Philippine supply chain, returns in 2020 in a different format reflecting these extraordinary times.
The COVID-19 pandemic may have put a hold on physical events, but we will continue to look at important trends and developments shaping the supply chain sector and its role in connecting, engaging and moving lives. Introducing #SCC20 Live, a month-long online event where we explore how we in supply chain can continue to work in these times of uncertainty and upheaval.
The past year has put an even stronger emphasis on the importance of supply chain not just in delivering essential supplies and keeping the economy moving, but also in contributing to a better quality of life for all. Restrictions on movement and activities has forced supply chain stakeholders to find ways to continue serving its customers at the same, if not better, levels.
Now that the dust has mostly settled – but with the threat of COVID-19 still looming – it’s time for us to take stock of how we can continue to do our work in light of our changing realities. After all, extraordinary times call for extraordinary vision – and our calls for a world class supply chain these past few years have never been more urgent.
#SCC20 Live will be made up of three online events held via Zoom on 8, 15 and 22 October. As with our past physical conferences, we will be inviting respected industry leaders, policy makers and subject matter experts to share their insights and knowledge.
